Camera Composition
We started by learning the Rule of Thirds, a key principle in visual composition. Instead of centering subjects, we divided the frame into a grid and placed key elements along the lines or intersections for a more balanced, engaging image.
To practice, we explored campus, capturing portraits and scenery while experimenting with different angles and placements. This helped us see how the rule enhances storytelling by naturally guiding the viewer’s eye. Whether in photography, film, or design, mastering this technique creates more dynamic and professional visuals.
